Estée Lauder Introduces The New Nutritious Collection

Recharge Skin’s Radiance with the Power of Pomegranate

Estée Lauder believes that every woman can be beautiful, and beauty begins with radiant, well-balanced skin. Inspired by traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy, Estée Lauder launched its Nutritious Collection in 2007 to help women achieve healthy-looking, well-balanced skin. Today, Estée Lauder continues to offer a total approach to skin’s radiant health with the introduction of NEW Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme and NEW Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask. These day and night vita-mineral moisture cremes feature powerful Pomegranate, the signature ingredient of Nutritious, as well as natural extracts, essential minerals and vitamins that work together to help visibly rebalance skin and enhance skin’s natural capacity to detoxify for radiant results.

Estée Lauder scientists understand key sources of toxins, including UV light, air pollution, smoke and irritation, can compromise skin’s natural equilibrium leading to dull-looking skin. In order to provide skin with the balance it critically needs in today’s increasingly harmful environment, Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme and Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask contain targeted ingredients to: Neutralize, Detoxify and Infuse. By neutralizing external stressors and irritants, detoxifying environmental aggressors within skin’s surface and infusing skin with moisture and energy, skin’s balance is restored and the signs of fatigue and dullness are diminished to reveal skin that looks radiant, healthy and beautiful.

All day, Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme recharges and renews skin for a radiant, energized look delivering instant, lasting hydration and strengthening skin’s moisture barrier. Then, at night, the luscious and emollient Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask helps optimize skin’s natural renewing activities, replenishing skin with deep moisture and helping to restore skin’s balance, in order to wake up to skin with a healthy, vibrant glow. When used together as part of the complete Nutritious regimen, the synergistic effect is remarkable, resulting in beautiful, well-balanced skin with a look of radiant health.

NEUTRALISE:

During the day, skin needs to be continuously protected from external stressors and irritants, whereas at night, skin’s primary function is to renew itself. Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme and Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask contain NEW Pomegranate Extract to deliver our most powerful Pomegranate-derived anti-oxidant benefits ever. In combination with a blend of other anti-oxidants, it helps to neutralize external stressors and irritants during the day and improve skin’s natural defenses throughout the night, leaving skin continuously protected for a healthy, radiant look.

NEW Pomegranate Extract: Estée Lauder Scientists have long understood the super-potent anti-oxidant power of Pomegranate to neutralize free radicals, and it’s also one of the most nutrient-dense fruits ever discovered, rich in energizing vitamins and minerals. Today, Estée Lauder Research has developed a proprietary and patent-pending process known as bio-conversion, a natural fermentation and purification process that increases the bio-availability of Pomegranate to skin cells.  By converting Pomegranate into a form more readily available to cells, skin is better able to receive Pomegranate’s multitude of benefits.

DETOXIFY:

During the day, impurities and toxins accumulate in the surface layer of the skin preventing proper skin functioning and cell renewal, which can lead to dull-looking skin. During the night, it is especially critical to provide the optimal environment for skin to help maximize its natural recovery process. Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme and Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask contain advanced technology to enhance skin’s natural detoxification ability helping to purify skin of stresses during the day and helping to restore skin’s balance during the night. These potent extracts help to elevate skin’s natural anti-oxidant capacity to further support skin’s natural detoxification process:
Coffee Seed Oil Extract: This unique extract actively supports the natural detoxification of impurities inside the surface layers of the skin by helping increase its natural defenses and resilience to external toxins and daily environmental aggressors. Skin becomes more balanced and its healthy appearance is restored.

Mandarin Orange Peel Extract:  Working in synergy with the Coffee Seed Oil Extract, the negative effects of toxins are minimized all day and night for balanced, detoxified skin that is revived with a vibrant glow.

INFUSE:

When skin lacks moisture it becomes dull and fatigued-looking, making hydration essential to healthy-looking skin. To boost skin’s hydration levels and restore skin’s youthful vitality, Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme and Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask infuse skin with deep moisture and energy by increasing skin’s Natural Moisture Factor (NMF) and strengthening skin’s barrier with the following advanced ingredients:

Cucumber Extract: Boosting skin’s NMF by naturally stimulating production of skin’s own hydration mechanisms, this special extract immediately provides skin with moisture that lasts all day long. Skin becomes healthier and more supple, as it helps maintain skin’s natural resistance to assaults and minimizes irritation that can result from dehydration. Signs of fatigue are diminished as skin is infused with intense moisture for a radiant, healthy-looking complexion.

Barrier-Boosting Lipid Blend: Featuring Murumuru Seed Butter, Melon Fruit and Avocado Extract, this special blend of essential fatty acids helps rebuild and strengthen skin’s lipid barrier to help skin retain moisture and resist irritation. Skin is better protected against external stressors and water loss, resulting in healthy-looking, hydrated skin.

Infuse By Day

During the day, skin cells require energy for optimal functioning. Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Creme contains additional ingredients which work to restore skin’s youthful vitality to provide skin with the extra energy it needs to consistently defend itself from environmental aggressors.

Soapberry Fruit and Tara Seed Extract infuse skin with the boost of energy it needs during the day. Together, these powerful ingredients work in synergy to recharge skin with vital energy for a fresh, healthy and revived look.

Infuse By Night

undefined
Night-time is the ideal time for skin to rest, and is therefore more receptive to the benefits of ingredients that can help to restore and revitalize skin’s appearance. New Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/ Mask contains additional naturally soothing plant extracts to infuse skin with soothing comfort at night.

Seaberry Fruit Oil, Algae and Licorice Extract, all known for their non-irritant properties, help to restore comfort to stressed skin. Skin awakens intensely hydrated, looking rested and revived the following day.

SIGNATURE SCENT:

Inspired by the exquisite essences of the South Pacific, this illuminating scent enlightens the senses with a touch of the Orient. Sparkling Grapefruit, Chinese Orange and Black Currant blend harmoniously with the delicate fusion of Fresh Rhubarb, Asian Pear and Cherry Blossom. The subtle whispers of Lotus Flower and Pink Orchid are softened with Fruity Musk bringing a sheer finish to this natural infusion.

Product Review | Estee Lauder Daywear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant SPF 15 Creme

Hi Dolls,
I've always loved skincare products, I remember when I was younger my mum letting me use her Oil of Olay (or oil of ugly as she used so call it) and then me getting my own, those were the days. I might not be using Olay any more but I've still dabbled in quite a few skincare brands and have a quite wide range of favorites.

At Christmas I received a lovely Estee Lauder skincare set as one of my presents, needless to say I started using the products straight away, I couldn't wait. As I've been using them for a few months, I thought I would do a review of one of the products for you.

I decided to start with the Daywear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant SPF 15 Creme, wow that's a long complicated name, I just call it my moisturizer lol.
This "day cream" is formulated for normal/combination skin, which is not really my skin type, I have more oily skin. But I didn't have any problems with this moisturizer  I was a little worried it would be too oily for me as it does contain spf15, but it was lovely, it felt really luxurious on my skin and left me looking dewy and healthy, rather than an oily mess.

Here is what the cream looks like:
As you can see from the above picture this cream has a very thick consistency, which would normally worry me, as in my past experience they always take ages to skin in and leave me my face looking like an oil slick. Not this one, it sinks in like a dream, also because it's so thick you only need to use the smallest amount. So it will probably last me months.

Here it is on my skin:
I like to use this every night as my night cream and it really does the job well, leaving my skin soft and moisturized  Sometimes if my skin is on the drier side in the mornings I will use it just on those areas, or I sometime mix it with my morning moisturizer.

I really like the scent of this product, it smells like cucumbers , it's so refreshing. I'm in love with this product and I definitely recommend it, plus I think it will work for all skin types which is a bonus.

The only downside I can see to this product is the price, it is a tad on the expensive side coming in at £37, although you do get quite a lot of product, 50ml. I just used the product from the lid for the first week lol.

I definitely recommend popping along to a Estee Lauder counter and asking for a sample, it really is a lovely product that I will absolutely be re-purchasing in the future when I've run out.

Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2013 Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara Review, Photos & Swatches

Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2013 Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara
The Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2013 Collection includes the Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara ($45 USD / $55 CAD) in 8 Asphalt Black, a charcoal black with golden sparkle. This limited-edition collection features an array of colors and textures inspired by the spirit of the contemporary woman who channels classy uptown and bold downtown styles at her will. Available online now and on counters August 2013.
This mascara comes in the regular Faux Cils Shocking packaging, with a golden tube and a bristle brush applicator. This particular shade will be joining the permanent line up this fall. While the original Faux Cils mascara is one of my all-time favorites, I must say that this formula is both a blessing and a curse…

The “Shocking” formula can build crazy volume really fast, but it one of the most clump-prone mascaras I’ve ever tried. The application is a bit tedious, but if you don’t mind working for it, you can achieve long, lush false-looking lashes every time. Basically, if you’re going to invest in this mascara- invest in some disposible spoolies as well, because you’re going to need to comb through your lashes after each coat. The mascara is quite wet, so it stays moist for quite a long time, allowing for the ability to layer and layer while still having time to separate lashes between each coat.
It’s even more cumbersome to apply on the bottom lashes, but the same rule applies- if you don’t mind combing through them to separate and define them, you can achieve some pretty intense looks. This shade is actually quite nice- I didn’t think I’d like it very much, because I’m quite partial to ultra black mascaras. I think this would be a great shade for those who find black too harsh, but don’t want to go to a brown. The hint of sparkle is quite fun too and really does catch in certain lighting for a cool effect.
I’d recommend this for advanced makeup users, as beginners may find it too difficult to apply. If you don’t want to spend at least 2-3 minutes perfecting your lashes- this isn’t the mascara for you.

5 Rituals for Beautiful Skin

Skin care doesn’t need to be a complex chore: It can be simple, natural and basic. Find out how to make your skin radiant, healthy, and beautiful with these mostly-free, couldn’t be simpler tried-and-true techniques.
1. Cleansing Routine: A beauty must! Cleanse your skin twice daily (only once if your skin is dry) using a mild, natural, inexpensive cleanser designed for your skin type. Add a couple of drops essential oil of rose, spearmint, or orange to your cleanser to boost its cleaning effect and aromatic quality. Cleansing your skin is especially important before going to bed, because your body excretes toxins through your skin as you sleep. If facial pores are clogged with makeup and dirt, breakouts can occur. If you perspire a lot in your line of work or exercise heavily, then rinse off and massage your body with a coarse cloth or loofah before retiring to remove salt and dead-skin buildup. Your skin needs to breathe while you sleep!
2. Exercise: Try to exercise outside, to help oxygenate your cells with fresh air and facilitate waste removal through your skin. Exercises such as walking, biking, in-line skating, and weight lifting improve cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance, which translates into increased energy and a rosy complexion. If you live in a city, try to find a green space—a park or a greenway—in which to exercise. If city streets, with their attendant pollution, are your only outdoor option, exercising in a gym may be a better alternative.
3. Sleep, Blissful Sleep: I don’t care what else you do to your skin, if you are sleep deprived your skin will look sallow, dull, tired, and saggy; with your puffy eyes, you will resemble a frog prince or princess. And of course, your energy level will be less than desirable. Sleep: It’s the best-kept skin care secret there is!
4. Sunlight: Ten to 15 minutes of unprotected exposure to sunlight several times a week is essential to the health of your bones and skin. It helps your body absorb calcium, due to the skin’s ability to convert the sun’s rays into vitamin D. Sun exposure helps heal eczema, psoriasis, and acne, and energizes your body. Plus those warm rays just make you feel good all over. If your dermatologist advises you to avoid the sun entirely, other sources of vitamin D include egg yolks, fish liver oil, vitamin-D-supplemented soy or cow’s milk, organ meats, salmon, sardines, and herring.
5. Water: What goes in must go out, and water helps move everything along. Impurities not disposed of in a timely manner via the internal organs of elimination (such as the kidneys, liver, lungs, and large intestine) will find an alternate exit, namely your skin, sometimes referred to as the “third kidney.” Pimples and rashes may develop as your body tries to unload its wastes through your skin. Eight to 12, 8-ounce glasses of pure water a day combined with a fibrous diet will help cleanse your body of toxins and keep your colon functioning as it should. Water also keeps your skin hydrated and moisturized, so drink up!

Why "Retail Therapy" Works

Five therapeutic benefits of shopping - and how to spot a habit gone awry

Remember that saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping?” Turns out there’s some truth to that adage.
A new study conducted by TNS Global on behalf of Ebates.com has found that more than half of Americans admit to engaging in “retail therapy.” This echoes a previous study published in the Journal of Psychology and Marketing. Researchers Selin Atalay and Margaret Meloy found that 62% of shoppers had purchased something to cheer themselves up and another 28% had purchased as a form of celebration.
While “therapy” isn’t quite the word I’d use to describe the positive effects of shopping, there are indeed psychological rewards. How else to explain the immense popularity of shopping?
Here are five therapeutic benefits of shopping and how to spot a shopping habit gone awry.

Easing Transitions

Janice was in a marriage devoid of intimacy for over a decade. When she finally divorced, the first thing she did was to buy all new bedding. “It was like I was possessed, I spent hours shopping for just the right thing and I finally bought the most beautiful duvet, shams, the works. It did feel therapeutic - like I was shedding that old marriage and ready to start fresh.”
As part of a research project, I visited the home of Andre, a 39 year old, single, tech entrepreneur and was surprised to see he’d included a space for long dresses in his newly built custom closet. When I asked him about it, Andre said that he was “dating around” and hoped to get married soon.  In, perhaps, an “if I build it she will come” state of mind, Andre included what he thought were things his yet to be identified future wife would want. “I assume she’ll need someplace to hang her dresses,” he said.
Shopping can be a rich source of mental preparation. As people shop they’re naturally visualizing how they’ll use the products they’ll considering, and in doing so they’re also visualizing their new life.  And as many great athletes will attest, visualization is a performance booster and anxiety reducer.
It’s no wonder then, that two of the most shop-intensive times of our lives are also two of life’s greatest transitions: getting married and having a baby.  The purchases themselves are only part of the allure, shopping - and visualizing - is preparation and it makes people feel more control and less anxious about these big transitions. Which explains why sometimes the amount of shopping outweighs the actual needs.
Sara Levin is a psychologist specializing in child development and a therapist to what she describes as "excited but overwhelmed" youngparents. She’s launching a subscription box service, Zero to Wonder. Monthly boxes will feature products selected to match a particular child’s age and developmental needs. According to Levin, “some types of purchasing can serve a higher purpose. Retail purchases can be helpful if the product inspires self-confidence and a sense of mastery.”
Whether it’s shopping for dorm equipment with your teenager or buying a special outfit to wear on vacation, whether they’re aware of it or not, nearly everyone has used shopping as a way to anticipate, imagine and mentally prepare.

Dressing For Success

When Annie moved from her small rural hometown to Boston for a new job she admits she went overboard shopping for new clothes. “Everyone looked better than me, I had to get new stuff.  I know I should be judged by just my work but I really felt so much better when I’d come in with a great outfit. It’s probably wrong that I wasn’t confident without getting new clothes, but it was true, and it still is something I think is important.”
What’s unusual isn’t that Annie purchased new clothing for her new job, city and lifestyle - what’s unusual is that see seemed to feel guilty about it. Who among us hasn’t purchased something for a special date, a new job or a big event?
Turns out it works. In a study published by The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, participants asked to wear white coats they were told were doctor’s coats. When wearing these coats students were far more accurate on test of attentional focus and concentration (traits associates with physicians) than the control group that simply wore their street clothes for the experiment.
On the flip side, we actually can judge a book by it’s cover - or in this case a person by their shoes. A study published in the Journal of Research in Personality participants were able to guess a persons age, gender, income and agreeableness from photos of their shoes.

The Pleasure Boost of Creativity and Aesthetics

Jules, a young administrative assistant, prides herself on her taste. “I love decorating and styling outfits. The texture and colors, I can think of just the right thing to tie it together. It’s so fun.” Jules enjoys shopping for creative inspiration. She says she visits shops at least once a week, “it’s just fun to see what’s new and it gives me ideas.”
Over the years I’ve asked many consumers to describe products they love and the responses have often struck me as similar to how someone might describe a piece of artwork. Jim, a 60 year old businessman, showed me a birthday gift from his wife, an expensive Panerai watch that he’d craved for years. He made sure I noticed every detail including the suppleness of the strap. He was clearly enraptured by the beauty and functionality of the watch. Some think that owning a luxury item is about status, but for many it’s more an appreciation of craftsmanship and design that enlivens the senses.
Jules’ shopping excursions serve a similar purpose. They enrich her life through creative expression and an appreciation of beauty and design.  Judging by the monumental success product pins on Pinterest, Jules isn’t the only person inspired by visual feast of retail.

Relaxation and Escape

When people think of  the benefits of “retail therapy,” escape, entertainment and rejuvenation are usually at the top of the list.
In my most recent consumer interviews, online shopping is increasingly mentioned as type of mini mental vacation.  It makes sense. Unless purchasing is involved, it’s a relatively mindless, relaxing activity. As a bonus, when faced with a difficult decision or arduous task, short breaks can actually improve performance and decision making.  Studies show that our unconscious mind continues to work out problems while we’re engaged in a different activity (this shouldn’t be confused with multi-tasking, doing several things at once results in not focusing on anything deeply).
Christina, a senior human relations professional, says she shopped for light fixtures nearly every day for a couple of weeks during breaks from her job. “I’d just scroll and scroll. I kind of missed it when I finally bought one.”  Chanelle takes breaks from her family by shopping. “It’s me time,” she says. “Sometimes it’s crazy at home and so I go to the mall for some me time.”
Be it window shopping, online scrolling or pawing through racks at outlet malls - shopping really can be a mental refresher - like a blip of a vacation without any packing or planning.

Social Connection

Since we’ve been gathering as humans we’ve gone to the marketplace to connect with other people. “When I go on vacation I always go to where people are shopping,” says Elaine, a retired teacher. “I get a feel for the place and the people, especially if I’m traveling to a different country.” Others, especially young people, meet friends and compare notes about tastes. “It’s how I get to know someone,” says Taylor, a stylish 15 year old.
Some people, like Jim connect with likeminded lovers of a particular brand. Since he received his watch he attended a store sponsored party of other Panerai owners and visits a website where Panerai owners post photos of their watches and share advice and news.
If there’s one antidote to emotional distress it’s human connection. We’re a species that’s mean to be with others, whether it occurs over dinner, at home or at the mall, it’s therapeutic.

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum

With modern life being so hectic, and our lives becoming more engaging, it’s comes as no surprise that the most popular beauty products are the ones that combine several products into one. Whilst the majority have become infatuated with B.B. Creams, one of the best selling makeup products at the moment is the The new Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum recording record high sales ever since it release in September 2011.

The new Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum combines make-up with skincare by combining a very unique serum with SPF 15. It produces instantaneous cosmetic and skincare benefits. The new Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum instantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The serum with SPF 15 helps protect against signs of ageing such as age spots and uneven skin tones. This foundation is a part of Max Factor’s “Elixir” range. The 2 in 1 foundation + serum is joined by the brand’s new Colour “Elixir” Lipstick that moisturizes and conditions your lips. This foundation is a 2-in-1.

The Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum has a unique consistency/texture that delivers a very natural looking finish, yet is great at covering blemishes and fine lines. It also offers a subtle, with a kind of floral fragrance and may remind you of lightly scented moisturizers; the kind that don’t intoxicate your nose!!!

Where so many other foundations excessively clog up pores and always make skin feel heavy and disgusting, we found that the majority of people who brought The Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum and use it on a regular basis, boasted that they instantly appreciated how light the product felt on the skin rather than "suffocating underneath all of the gunk" as some foundations do. According to the majority, it feels like it's moisturizing the skin throughout the day! because it delivers a smooth and lovely finish and leaves skin looking flawless upon application...Lets face it, it's not one of Max Factor's best selling products for no reason!

The Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum Pros:

  • A little goes a long way! So for the price it’s a great value as it really is a high quality product.
  • Every single person I talked to and have left comments online, commented on the fact that it smells very pleasant, light and slightly fruity sweet and fresh.
  • Everyone likes the idea of the sun protection it has to offer.
  • The serum feeds and moisturizes the skin while also wearing foundation. (Some foundations  are very dry and most need a moisturizer on first...NOT WITH THIS YOU DON'T!)
  • It comes in a good range of skin tone colours, six in total, all which blend to suit most skin tones.
  • Applying the product is really easy as it is very light and glides on evenly without needing any great expertise.
The Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum Cons:
  • For those with greasy skin it did make their skin feel even greasier.
  • Some found the sample tone of natural 50 a bit light but there are darker tones if you choose to buy the product you can test the tones in store.

10 Top Most Common Makeup Mistakes That Women Do!

Makeup is one of the most important regimes of a woman. It makes a woman look beautiful and glamorous. But if the makeup is not applied properly or proper steps are not followed to apply makeup, it can be a disaster!
The following blog will help you get a better understanding of the application of a few makeup products. Also you will be surprised to read a few facts which were not know to you. Enjoy the blog!!
1.    Mismatched foundation
Foundation is a cosmetic product which is used to cover up the uneven complexion of the face and also cover the flaws on the face.
Most ladies think that the way to get perfect skin complexion is through foundations and hence they land up purchasing a foundation that does not match the skin tone.
Foundation is meant to be applied to highlight the area which has flaws or uneven skin tone. Too much foundation makes the face look aged and also separates the face from the neck when gives the face a caked-on effect.2.
2.    Clumpy eyelashesClumpylashes
Mascara is applied to give a definition, length and thickness to the eyelashes. It makes the eyes look bigger and dramatic. But if it is applied improperly it makes the eyes look clumpy and messy.
The main reason for clumpy eyelashes is because of over use of mascara. Mascara should be applied not more than 2 coats.
Mascara is meant to last only for three- four months. Usage of old mascara also makes the eyelash look clumpy and messy.
3.    visible-lip-liner Extremely dark lip liner
lip liner is applied on the lips to firstly define the shape of the lips and prevent the lipstick from bleeding. The second use of lip liner is to make the lips look fuller and bigger.
The biggest mistake that women do with the lip liner is that they apply a liner which is way too dark from the lipstick that they are going to apply. A darker lip liner on a light shade of lipstick gives an odd ring around the mouth which does not look attractive.
4.     Over application of blushblunders
Too much blush makes the face look patchy and makes the cheek look too much of makeup.
Many women make this common mistake of applying the blush on the cheeks making the face look like a clown makeup.
The blush should always be applied from the apple of the cheeks to the hair line and ears.
5.     Too much eye shadowblack-eye-31
Too much eye shadow makes the eyes look frosty and it also hides the entire face under the eye shadow.
Women make the mistake of covering the entire eye lid with eye shadow. The eye shadow should be applied little under the eye brows and little on the eye lids.
6.     261Over plucked eyebrows
Eyebrows give definition to the entire face. They are the most essential part on the entire face. If done correctly, it brings balance to your face and makes the expression look more authentic.
If the eyebrows are done incorrectly or are over plucked, or thin or pointed; it makes the face look thin and make the person look older than they are.
7.     Smudge eyelinerSmudged-Eyeliner
Too much eye liner or very dark black eye liner makes the eyes look harsh and gives a wrong impression about the person. Harsh eye liner can be very distracting and also can make the eyes look smaller.
The mistake that women do is that they apply too much eyeliner without defining or knowing the type of their eyes.
Black eyeliner looks good during the night time but applying during the day time can look harsh and aggressive.
Eyeliner which blends with the color of the eye shadow looks great and defines the eyes in an effective manner.
8.     Obvious concealersbsg_concealer3
Concealers are used under the eyes is to hide dark circles, if applied properly under the eyes it lifts the eyes and make it look brighter and younger. It also helps in making the person look fresh by hiding those dark circles underneath the eyes. Similarly, concealers applied on the face helps to cover the spots, uneven patches etc.
But, many women tend to use a concealer whose shade is much lighter than their skin tone. It makes a white circle around the eyes and makes it look very obvious in normal light or photographs.
Another mistake is that applying a concealer on the face before a foundation. Concealer before the foundation is too much makeup and makes the face look separated from the neck.
 9.    unlending foundNot blending your makeup
This is one of the most common mistakes that women do is not to blend the makeup after applying it. If the makeup is not blended properly it makes the face look you are wearing a mask.
The makeup should not have visible or obvious lines. Makeup is applied to enhance the features of the face and hide the flaws and not by highlighting the obvious lines.
10.   Sleeping with makeup onrby-7-biggest-beauty-sins-sleeping-with-makeup-mdn
This might be the worst mistake you can make with your face. No matter how late it is or how tired you are, always take the time to remove your makeup before you go to bed.
Makeup clogs your pores, which prevents the pores to release sebum, which lets out dead skin cells and other dead skin or particles. When sebum is not released, it builds up and results in acne. Leaving your eye makeup on can be even worse. It can cause irritation, an allergic reaction, or even an infection.
