First of all, you have to begin with a freshly-washed face before putting makeup. Cleanse your face with a good cleanser and put on a good moisturizer and sunscreen afterwards. Then, you may now begin applying a makeup underbase to prime your face for the make-up.
If you have pimples or dark circles to cover up, put on concealer before starting with your foundation. Your concealer should be slightly lighter than your regular skin tone.

Simply putting on foundation can immensely beautify your overall appearance. It can even out your skin color and make skin imperfections more subtle. Remember to blend your foundation well at the jaw line to prevent that artificial looking line.
Put on a thin layer of face powder over your foundation to create a clean "set". Your trusty powder will also help you maintain a fresh-looking face even at the end of the day.
After your face, focus on your eyes next. Start by filling in your eyebrows with your eyeliner pencil to create a perfect curve.
Next, put on an eyeshadow which coordinates with your eye color and your skin color and blend properly.
With an eyeliner, line your lower lids very carefully and thinly starting from the outer corner of your eye inwards. Do not forget to curl your eyelashes and put on a great volumizing mascara.
Next put on a natural colored blush onto your cheek apples. You should choose a blush color that closely resembles your how your cheek looks like after a long exercise.
Protect your lips first with your reliable lipbalm. Using a lipliner, line your lips starting from the outer part of the lower lip inwards.
Then, put on a good colored lipstick or lipgloss that coordinates well with your make up. Use a good lip brush or your fingers to blend your lip liner with your lip gloss or lipstick color. Finish with your lips by gently clamping with a tissue.
Finally, under natural light, look at yourself in front of the mirror to see if everything blends well.
